Gisaor Receives 2004 Economics Course Mates On Solidarity Visit In Abuja

The Executive Director, Housing Finance and Accounts (HFA), Federal Housing Authority (FHA), Dr. Vincent Iorja Gisaor, has received some of his 2004 coursemates from the Department of Economics of the Rev. Fr. Moses Orshio Adasu University, formerly Benue State University, Makurdi, on a solidarity visit to his office at the Federal Housing Authority Headquarters in Abuja.

The visit was an opportunity for the former classmates to reconnect and demonstrate their continued friendship, solidarity and shared bond more than two decades after their undergraduate days.

Receiving the delegation, Dr. Gisaor expressed appreciation to his coursemates for taking the time to visit him, describing the gesture as a demonstration of friendship, unity and the enduring relationship they have maintained over the years.

He encouraged them to continue to uphold the values of unity, mutual understanding and purposeful engagement, stressing the importance of supporting one another and working collectively towards the advancement of their communities and the nation at large.

The Executive Director also thanked the delegation for identifying with him in his current responsibility at the Federal Housing Authority. He reaffirmed his commitment to discharging his duties diligently and contributing meaningfully to the development of Nigeria's housing sector and the overall well-being of Nigerians.

Speaking during the visit, Mr. Uben Emmanuel congratulated Dr. Gisaor on his appointment and expressed satisfaction with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, and the Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, for finding one of their own worthy of the opportunity to serve in such a capacity.

Emmanuel noted that Dr. Gisaor's appointment was a source of pride to his former classmates, who, he said, were pleased to identify with him and offer their support as he takes on the responsibilities of his new office.

In his remarks, Mr. Ashi Paul offered prayers for Dr. Gisaor, asking God to grant him the strength, wisdom and courage required to discharge his responsibilities creditably and make a positive contribution to the housing sector.

The solidarity visit ended on a cordial note, with the coursemates reaffirming the enduring friendship and bond that have continued to unite them since their undergraduate years.
