NDC Youth Wing Mobilises Bayelsa For Dickson’s Reception, 2 Million-Man Rally
The Bayelsa State Chapter of the National Youth Wing Movement (NYWM) of the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC) has commenced strategic preparations towards strengthening the party’s grassroots structure and ensuring a successful mobilisation ahead of major upcoming activities.
The State Coordinator of the movement, Hon. Isoun Douye McCarthy, disclosed this after convening a strategic meeting with the eight Local Government Coordinators of the NDC Youth Wing Movement in the state.
The meeting focused on key issues bordering on party growth, youth mobilisation, and effective grassroots engagement across Bayelsa State.
A major outcome of the meeting was the resolution to organise a grand reception for the National Leader of the Nigerian Democratic Congress, His Excellency, Senator Henry Seriake Dickson, as part of efforts to honour his contributions and leadership role in the party.
Hon. McCarthy said the leadership of the Youth Wing Movement is committed to giving Senator Dickson a warm and historic welcome that reflects the respect and appreciation of party members and supporters across the state.
The meeting also reviewed preparations for the forthcoming 2 Million-Man Rally, with the coordinators assessing mobilisation strategies, assigning responsibilities, and strengthening coordination among local government structures to ensure a peaceful and successful event.
According to the State Coordinator, the Bayelsa Youth Wing remains united, energised, and prepared to mobilise youths from all wards, constituencies, and local government areas to demonstrate the growing support and acceptance of the NDC in the state.
He further called on party faithful, supporters, and members of the National Youth Wing Movement to remain committed, focused, and united in advancing the ideals and vision of the party.
Hon. McCarthy reaffirmed that the Bayelsa State Youth Wing Movement would continue to build a formidable grassroots structure capable of delivering greater achievements for the NDC.
“Together, we build a stronger NDC. Service is our watchword,” he stated.
