Group Commends Idahosa’s Loyalty To Okpebholo, Urges Him To Resist Political Pressure
An Edo State All Progressives Congress (APC) support group, Edo APC Diaspora Media Presenters, has commended the state’s Deputy Governor, Dennis Idahosa, for his loyalty to Governor Monday Okpebholo and his commitment to the administration’s development agenda.
The group also congratulated Idahosa on his recent 46th birthday, describing him as a politician who has demonstrated political maturity, loyalty and commitment to the development of Edo State.
In a statement signed by its Director-General, Monday Eghosa Ohuimumwen, JP; Deputy Director-General, Bolton Osaze; and Treasurer, Prince Frank Elema, the group said Idahosa had played an important role in supporting the Okpebholo administration and contributing to the successes recorded so far.
The group urged the Deputy Governor to remain focused on the administration’s vision and resist pressure from what it described as disgruntled political actors seeking to undermine the unity and stability of the government.
“We join millions of Nigerians to celebrate Edo Deputy Governor, Dennis Idahosa, on his birthday. Idahosa has displayed political acumen and loyalty to his boss, Governor Monday Okpebholo,” the group said.
It further described Idahosa as a politician whose previous experience as a member of the House of Representatives had prepared him for his current responsibilities as Deputy Governor.
According to the group, Idahosa had demonstrated that he was committed to the welfare and development of the people, adding that his continued partnership with Governor Okpebholo would contribute to the success of the administration.
The group prayed for wisdom and good health for the Deputy Governor, expressing optimism that he would continue to support policies and programmes capable of improving the lives of Edo residents.
It also urged Idahosa to remain steadfast in his support for Governor Okpebholo, saying his loyalty and cooperation were important to the stability and effectiveness of the state government.
The commendation comes amid efforts by the Okpebholo administration to consolidate its political and governance agenda in Edo State, with the group maintaining that unity and cooperation among the state’s political leadership would be essential to achieving sustainable development.
The group concluded by wishing Idahosa continued success in office and expressing confidence in his ability to contribute positively to the administration’s record in Edo State.
