Gisaor Meets Support Groups, Reaffirms Commitment to Tinubu, Alia

The Executive Director, Housing Finance and Accounts, Federal Housing Authority (FHA), Dr. Vincent Iorja Gisaor, has met with various support groups and associates at the J.S. Tarka Foundation in Makurdi, Benue State, as part of efforts to strengthen existing relationships and reconnect with groups with whom he has shared longstanding social and political engagements.

At a meeting with members of the Vanen Hen Alia Support Group, Dr. Gisaor assured the organisation of his continued support and partnership, particularly in mobilising grassroots support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Welcoming Dr. Gisaor to the group's general meeting, the Convener, Mrs. Vanen Mary Gberindyer, said the organisation was established specifically to mobilise grassroots support for the second-term ambitions of President Tinubu and Governor Alia.

According to her, the group is committed to consolidating the achievements of the two leaders and ensuring that their programmes and policies continue to enjoy sustained support at the grassroots.
Also speaking, Mrs. Laface Okpabi from Oyi Local Government Area and Mr. Alfred Awarga from Gwer West expressed the group's determination to continue mobilising support for President Tinubu and Governor Alia, citing what they described as the positive impact of their administrations.

Dr. Gisaor later met with members of the Collaboration of All APC Women in Nigeria (CAWOND) at the same venue.
Welcoming him, the Benue State Coordinator of CAWOND, Hon. Mrs. Nancy Biam, PhD, said the organisation has a nationwide presence, with branches across the states of the federation.

She reaffirmed the organisation's commitment to supporting Governor Alia's second-term bid in 2027, while pledging continued mobilisation of women across Benue State and beyond.

In a separate remark, Mrs. Dorcas Terfa reiterated the group's support for the re-election of President Tinubu and Governor Alia in 2027.
The groups also appealed to Dr. Gisaor to continue to carry their members along in the scheme of things, noting that greater inclusion would further strengthen their capacity to support the Governor and the implementation of his administration's programmes.

The meetings provided an opportunity for Dr. Gisaor to socialise, reconnect and strengthen relationships with friends, associates and support groups that have remained committed to the political development of Benue State and Nigeria.

The groups expressed appreciation to Dr. Gisaor for his appointment to the Federal Housing Authority, describing it as a source of pride to Benue State.

They also commended President Tinubu and Governor Alia for what they described as their roles in creating opportunities for qualified Benue indigenes to contribute to national development.
