The Executive Director, Housing Finance and Account, Federal Housing Authority (FHA), Dr. Vincent Iorja Gisaor, has commended the Stainless Women Club Abuja for its humanitarian activities and pledged his support for initiatives aimed at improving the lives of less privileged and vulnerable members of society.
Dr. Gisaor made the commitment when members of the club paid him a solidarity visit at his office at the Federal Housing Authority, Abuja.
He described humanitarian service as a collective responsibility, stressing that every citizen has a role to play in supporting the less privileged and vulnerable in society.
The FHA Executive Director assured the group of his readiness to support initiatives that promote empowerment and improve the wellbeing of Nigerians. Mrs. Amile explained that the club’s objectives include reaching out to poor and vulnerable women, providing them with skills in areas such as cooking and other vocational activities, and empowering them to establish small-scale businesses.
She appealed to Dr. Gisaor for support to enable the club to sustain and expand its humanitarian programmes and reach more vulnerable women in need.
