Gisaor Calls For Unity, Peace In Benue, Backs Tinubu, Alia For 2027

The Executive Director, Housing Finance and Accounts, Federal Housing Authority (FHA), Dr. Vincent Iorja Gisaor, has called for greater unity, peace and collective action among the people of Benue State, stressing that these remain critical to sustainable development and meaningful progress.

Gisaor also urged Nigerians, particularly the people of Benue State, to support and vote for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, in the 2027 general elections.
He made the call when the Principal Special Assistant to the Governor of Benue State on Statistics and Planning, Hon. Richard Wayo Utoo; Miss Doofan Phil Amough; and members of the family of Mr. Jacob Ger paid him a courtesy visit at his office in Abuja.

Speaking during the visit, Gisaor commended the policies and programmes of the Tinubu administration, saying they were designed to address some of the challenges confronting Nigerians and improve the welfare of citizens.
He therefore appealed to Nigerians to support President Tinubu's bid for re-election in 2027, arguing that continuity would enable the administration to consolidate its achievements and further advance the Renewed Hope Agenda.

The FHA executive director similarly appealed to the people of Benue State to sustain their support for Governor Alia, noting that continued backing would give the governor the opportunity to consolidate the achievements of his administration and pursue more development initiatives in the state.
Gisaor expressed appreciation to his visitors for the courtesy call and reaffirmed his support for President Tinubu, whom he credited with finding him worthy of appointment to the Federal Housing Authority.

He also acknowledged Governor Alia's contribution to his nomination, as well as the support of individuals and groups who played various roles in his emergence as Executive Director of the FHA.

Earlier, Utoo congratulated Gisaor on his appointment, describing him as a suitable choice for the position and expressing confidence in his ability to excel in his new national assignment.
Utoo also reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the administrations of both President Tinubu and Governor Alia, while pledging continued cooperation toward the success of their respective programmes.

In her remarks, Miss Doofan Phil Amough congratulated Gisaor on his appointment and urged him to remain a worthy ambassador of Benue State in his new place of assignment.

She also commended him for carrying support groups along in his office and appealed to him to continue creating opportunities for more groups and stakeholders to contribute to the success of the administration.

Similarly, Mr. Jacob Ger pledged his continued support for the administrations of President Tinubu and Governor Alia, assuring them of his unflinching commitment to their programmes and leadership.

The visitors thereafter offered prayers for Dr. Gisaor, wishing him wisdom, success and divine guidance as he settles into his new national assignment.
