Gisaor made the commitment on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, when he received the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Alia, Sir Tersoo Kula, who paid him a courtesy visit at his office at the Federal Housing Authority in Abuja.
The Executive Director expressed appreciation to Governor Alia for nominating him for his appointment and to President Tinubu for finding him worthy of the responsibility.

He described the Alia administration as transformational and people-oriented, expressing satisfaction with its achievements and policy direction.

Gisaor said he remained committed to supporting Governor Alia’s second-term bid and would work towards ensuring the governor’s return to office in 2027.

He also commended Kula and members of the governor’s media team for their consistent efforts in communicating the achievements of the administration to the people of Benue.
He urged the team to sustain the momentum and continue to effectively project the policies, programmes and achievements of the Alia administration.

Earlier, Kula congratulated Gisaor on his appointment, describing him as “a round peg in a round hole.”

He expressed confidence in Gisaor’s capacity to succeed in his new assignment and urged him to continue supporting Governor Alia’s administration and contribute his quota towards the actualisation of the governor’s second-term ambition in 2027.

The courtesy visit, according to the statement, further underscored the continued collaboration and support among stakeholders working to advance the interests of the Alia administration and the people of Benue State.
