The Councilor-Elect for Ward 11, Jattu-Uzairue, Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State, Hon. Francis Aliu, has felicitated with an All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Engr. Chief Abu Meepata, on the occasion of his birthday.

In a goodwill message issued on Wednesday, Aliu described Meepata as a committed party man, grassroots mobiliser, mentor and pillar of the APC whose contributions to the growth and development of the party in Uzairue and Edo State remain worthy of recognition.

According to the Councilor-Elect, Meepata has consistently demonstrated loyalty to the APC by investing his time, resources, experience and energy in strengthening the party and promoting unity among its members.

Aliu particularly commended the APC chieftain's leadership and mentoring roles, noting that his fatherly disposition towards party faithful and young people had contributed to fostering unity and grassroots participation within the party.

He said, “You are a bridge-builder who believes in unity, progress and grassroots development. Because of leaders like you, APC continues to grow stronger in Uzairue and Etsako West.”

Aliu, who spoke on behalf of himself, his family and the people of Ward 11, Jattu-Uzairue, prayed for divine protection, good health, wisdom and longevity for the celebrant.

He also expressed optimism that Meepata's new year would bring greater opportunities for service, impact and contribution to the development of Edo State and the APC.

“May this new year bring you more joy, more honour and more opportunities to do good for APC and Edo State. We appreciate you, sir, and we are proud to walk with you in the journey to build a better Edo,” Aliu stated.

Historical records also show that an Abu Meepata was listed among members of the APC's Monitoring and Evaluation directorate for the party's 2020 Edo State governorship campaign, indicating his involvement in the party's activities over the years.

The Councilor-Elect concluded by extending his warmest birthday wishes to Chief Meepata, praying that his years ahead would be marked by continued service, impact and blessings.

“Happy Birthday, Engr. Chief Abu Meepata. More years of impact, service and blessings.”
