NDC Youth Wing Celebrates Success of Nationwide PVC Awareness Rally, Commends Volunteers and Leaders
The National Secretary of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) Youth Wing, Hon. Eff Philimon Ladan (Wamban Kwarge Nafarko), has expressed appreciation to members, volunteers, and supporters for the successful completion of the party's nationwide Permanent Voter Card (PVC) Awareness Rally.
In a statement issued on July 12, 2026, Ladan described the rally, which was held from July 4 to July 10, 2026, as a major success despite logistical and operational challenges encountered in some states.
He commended the commitment, resilience, and dedication displayed by youth organizers and volunteers across the country, noting that their efforts helped spread awareness on the importance of voter registration, PVC collection, and active participation in Nigeria's democratic process.
According to him, the rally featured street campaigns, door-to-door sensitization, and voter education programmes that reached millions of eligible Nigerians, reinforcing the NDC Youth Wing's role in grassroots mobilization.
Ladan also paid special tribute to the National Coordinator of the NDC Youth Wing, Hon. Ajodo Onuh, for providing exemplary leadership throughout the exercise. He further acknowledged the contributions of state coordinators, party elders, stakeholders, and media teams whose support and publicity contributed significantly to the success of the campaign.
"The PVC Awareness Rally is not the end of our engagement but the beginning of a greater movement toward electoral victory in 2026. We must sustain this momentum until every eligible voter is registered and every PVC is collected," he said.
Reaffirming the Youth Wing's commitment to strengthening democracy through voter participation, the National Secretary thanked all participants for their service to the party and the nation, expressing confidence that their sacrifices would be remembered.
