NDC National Youth Wing Unveils Plans For Nationwide 2 Million Youth Rally Across 36 States, FCT

The National Youth Wing of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has announced plans to organize a nationwide 2 Million Youth Rally March across the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), describing the initiative as a major youth-driven movement aimed at promoting unity, grassroots mobilization, and active democratic participation.

According to the NDC National Youth Wing, the rally is expected to bring together an estimated two million young Nigerians in what it described as a historic demonstration of the strength, unity, and determination of the nation's youth to contribute meaningfully to Nigeria's democratic development.

The youth wing stated that the rally is designed to reinforce support for the party's presidential candidate, His Excellency Peter Obi, vice-presidential candidate, His Excellency Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, and all NDC candidates contesting elective positions across the country, including governorship, National Assembly, State House of Assembly, and local government elections.

The organization emphasized that the initiative goes beyond political campaigning, noting that it represents a collective commitment by young Nigerians to grassroots engagement, peaceful participation in the democratic process, and national development.

Describing the event as more than a political gathering, the NDC National Youth Wing said the rally would serve as a declaration that Nigerian youths are united, organized, and prepared to play a leading role in shaping the country's future through service, dedication, and civic responsibility.

The group stressed that every ward, every local government area, every state, and every young Nigerian has a vital role to play in strengthening democratic institutions and advancing the party's vision for a better Nigeria.

While the official date for the nationwide rally is yet to be announced, the NDC National Youth Wing urged members and supporters across the country to remain mobilized as preparations intensify for what it described as one of the largest youth political gatherings in Nigeria's history.

The announcement was accompanied by the slogan: "One Movement. One Voice. One Victory," reflecting the youth wing's call for unity and collective action toward achieving the party's political objectives.
