Gov. Nwifuru Has Made Basic Education In Ebonyi State More Comfortable, Hygienic, Environmentally Friendly — Nwedu
Nwedu Abraham Nwedu, Member of the Ebonyi State Board of Internal Revenue, has commended the administration of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Bldr. Prnc. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for prioritising quality basic education, describing the governor's investments in the sector as a demonstration that the future of Ebonyi children remains non-negotiable.
Across all 13 local government areas of the state, the government is constructing ultra-modern schools equipped with desks, chairs, mats, textbooks, computers, and sandals to provide pupils with a conducive learning environment.
Under the People's Charter of Needs administration, no child is expected to sit on the floor to receive an education.
Through the BERWO Foundation, 10,000 girls between the ages of 14 and 18 are benefiting from the distribution of free sanitary pads and educational materials across Ebonyi State. The initiative promotes dignity, reduces school absenteeism among girls, and improves learning outcomes.
In addition, strategic partnerships on water, sanitation, and hygiene are improving the school environment, making basic education in Ebonyi State more comfortable, hygienic, and environmentally friendly.
Nwedu prayed for God's continued guidance, wisdom, and blessings upon Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru as he continues to deliver on the People's Charter of Needs.
