Evangelist Eloka Urges Christians To Embrace God's Divine Testament Through Love
Mission Servant of the Love and Eternal Life Mission, Evangelist (Hon.) Chinedu Jude Eloka, has called on Christians to embrace what he described as God's divine testament by living lives characterized by love, righteousness, and obedience to the Holy Spirit.
In his Mid-Week Meditation for Wednesday, July 8, 2026, titled "The Divine Testament," Evangelist Eloka drew his message from First Epistle of John 1:1–2, emphasizing that Jesus Christ is the eternal Word of Life who existed with the Father before the creation of the world and was revealed to humanity for the salvation of mankind.
Quoting the Apostle John's testimony, he explained that Christ is "Life from God" and the source of eternal life, stressing that Jesus came not to establish a religion but to reveal God's love and reconcile humanity with the Father through the power of the Holy Spirit.
According to the cleric, everyone who receives Christ also receives the Holy Spirit, who imparts God's nature and bears witness that believers are children of God. He noted that Christ is the only way to true godliness, righteousness, and salvation.
Evangelist Eloka further encouraged believers to walk in love, describing it as the pathway to eternal life and the fulfillment of God's purpose. He said genuine love is demonstrated through selflessness, sacrifice, and complete obedience to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
He added that walking in love is synonymous with walking in righteousness, which, according to him, attracts God's blessings and prosperity. Citing the biblical principle that "righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people," he urged individuals and nations alike to uphold righteousness as the foundation for lasting peace and development.
The Mission Servant concluded by encouraging Christians to remain steadfast in their faith, live according to God's will, and continually reflect Christ's love in their daily lives.
He ended the meditation with a call for believers to share the message of hope and salvation with others.
