Adams Haruna Appoints Campaign Director-General For Kaduna Central Senatorial Bid
The Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate for the Kaduna Central Senatorial District in the 2027 general election, Hon. Adams Haruna Ekene, has appointed Comrade Gideon Jatau as the Director-General (DG) of his senatorial campaign.
The appointment, which took effect on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, was announced during a strategic stakeholders' meeting attended by party leaders, local government chairmen, zonal executives, and other key stakeholders of the NDC.
According to Hon. Ekene, the appointment reflects Comrade Jatau's unwavering dedication, vast experience, proven leadership capacity, and loyalty to the ideals of the Nigeria Democratic Congress.
As Director-General, Comrade Jatau will oversee the administrative and strategic coordination of the campaign, working closely with party leaders, grassroots mobilizers, and other stakeholders to strengthen the campaign structure and position the NDC for victory in the 2027 general election.
The meeting was attended by party officials representing all seven local government areas that make up the Kaduna Central Senatorial District. Those present included the chairmen of Chikun, Kajuru, Igabi, Giwa, Kaduna North, and Birnin Gwari local government chapters, while the Kaduna South chapter was represented by its Ward Coordinator. The NDC Zonal Chairman, alongside other party executives and stakeholders, also participated in the meeting.
Speaking after the announcement, party leaders expressed confidence that the appointment would further energize the campaign and enhance grassroots mobilization across the senatorial district.
