The campaign organization of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) House of Representatives candidate for Ovia Federal Constituency, Hon. Charity Iguodala Aiguobarueghian, has urged voters in Ovia North-East and Ovia South-West Local Government Areas to prioritize proven leadership and legislative competence over political promises in the 2027 general election.
In a statement issued by the campaign team, the forthcoming House of Representatives election was described as a defining moment for the constituency, presenting residents with a choice between "unproven promises and the verifiable achievements of an experienced legislator."
According to the statement, Hon. Aiguobarueghian has distinguished himself through a track record of impactful representation in the Edo State House of Assembly, where he has demonstrated legislative capacity, constitutional knowledge, and a commitment to people-oriented governance.
The campaign highlighted several of his achievements, including the facilitation of infrastructure projects, the provision of electricity transformers to underserved communities, and sustained advocacy for policies aimed at improving the social and economic well-being of constituents.
