2027: NDC Members, Supporters Rally Behind Jeffrey Adigwe, Cite Leadership, Professional Experience
Members and supporters of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) have reaffirmed their support for the party's Delta State House of Assembly aspirant for Aniocha South Constituency, Hon. Jeffrey Ugochukwu Adigwe (JUAofAfrica), expressing confidence in his ability to provide purposeful, transparent, and people-centred representation.
In a statement made available to Excessflownews, the supporters described Adigwe as a leader of integrity, competence, and compassion whose vision for Aniocha South is centred on inclusive development, accountable leadership, and grassroots engagement.
They called on party members to remain united and intensify peaceful campaigns ahead of the 2027 general elections, stressing that collective commitment, hard work, and respect for democratic values would be crucial to securing victory at the polls.
According to the supporters, Adigwe represents a new generation of leadership committed to delivering practical solutions to the challenges facing Aniocha South. They said they believe that, if elected, he will prioritise improved road infrastructure, quality healthcare, accessible education, youth and women empowerment, agricultural development, job creation, and support for small and medium-scale enterprises.
The supporters also expressed confidence that he would sponsor people-oriented legislation, attract constituency development projects, facilitate skills acquisition and entrepreneurship programmes, expand scholarship opportunities for deserving students, and work closely with government agencies, development partners, and the private sector to create sustainable economic opportunities across the constituency.
They further stated that Adigwe has consistently advocated transparency, accountability, and inclusive governance, adding that they believe he will maintain an open-door leadership style through regular town hall meetings, continuous engagement with constituents, and collaboration with traditional rulers, community leaders, women, and youth groups to ensure that every ward in Aniocha South benefits from development.
Highlighting his background, the supporters noted that Adigwe is a professional business manager and digital investment consultant from the Aniocha region of Delta State. According to them, he earned a Bachelor's degree in Sociology with Second Class Honours (Upper Division) from Houdegbe North American University, Benin Republic, where he actively participated in sporting and community activities that strengthened his leadership and teamwork skills.
They added that his experience in corporate administration, operational strategy, and business consulting, coupled with his current role as Business Consulting Manager at Jeffzelony Digital Investment Limited, has equipped him with valuable management, planning, and problem-solving skills. They further noted that his professional engagements within Nigeria and internationally have broadened his perspective on governance, economic development, and sustainable growth.
The supporters maintained that these experiences have prepared Adigwe to provide effective legislative representation capable of attracting investment, promoting entrepreneurship, creating employment opportunities, and improving the standard of living across the eleven wards of Aniocha South.
"We believe Hon. Jeffrey Ugochukwu Adigwe will be a representative who listens to the people, speaks for the people, and works tirelessly in their best interest. We are confident that he will champion policies that improve livelihoods, empower young people, support women, farmers, and entrepreneurs, and ensure that every community benefits from the dividends of democracy," the statement read.
They added that Adigwe's humility, accessibility, and commitment to selfless service distinguish him from many politicians, expressing confidence that his representation would be guided by honesty, integrity, and measurable results rather than personal ambition.
The supporters therefore called on residents of Aniocha South to support his aspiration, saying the 2027 election presents an opportunity to elect a leader with the vision, educational background, professional experience, and commitment required to move the constituency forward.
They concluded by urging party members to remain united and continue mobilising support for the NDC candidate, expressing optimism that under Jeffrey Ugochukwu Adigwe's leadership, Aniocha South would witness a new era of effective representation, inclusive development, economic growth, and renewed hope for every community.
