Nwifuru Hosts Innovation Minister, Seeks Stronger Federal-State Collaboration On Technology Development

The Governor of Ebonyi State, Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, has reaffirmed his administration's commitment to leveraging innovation, science, and technology to drive economic growth, youth empowerment, and sustainable development across the state.

Governor Nwifuru made this known after receiving the Honourable Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Kingsley Toochukwu Udeh, on a courtesy visit to his office.

According to the governor, discussions during the meeting focused on fostering innovation, advancing science and technology, and exploring strategic partnerships between the Federal Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology and the Ebonyi State Government.

He noted that the collaboration is expected to promote digital transformation, create opportunities for young people, attract investment, and strengthen the state's economic development agenda.

Governor Nwifuru emphasized that his administration remains committed to utilizing innovation and technology as critical tools for improving governance and enhancing the quality of life of residents.

He also expressed appreciation to the minister for the visit and conveyed optimism about deepening cooperation between the federal ministry and the Ebonyi State Government for the benefit of the people.
