Bayelsa Government Postpones Skills Entrepreneurs’ Certification, Empowerment Ceremony
The Bayelsa State Government has announced the postponement of the Skills Entrepreneurs’ Certification and Empowerment Ceremony under the Governor Douye Diri-led administration, which was earlier scheduled to hold on June 26, 2026.
According to an official announcement, a new date for the event will be communicated to the public in due course.
The government expressed deep regret over any inconvenience the postponement may have caused invited guests, participants, and other stakeholders who had made arrangements to attend the ceremony.
It appreciated the understanding and continued support of all concerned, assuring beneficiaries and invited guests that adequate notice would be given once a new date is fixed.
The Skills Entrepreneurs’ Certification and Empowerment Ceremony is part of the state government's commitment to entrepreneurship development, skills acquisition, and economic empowerment initiatives aimed at improving livelihoods across Bayelsa State.
The announcement was signed by Amb. Mrs. Charity Kens Godwin, Technical Adviser to the Governor on Entrepreneurship Development and Director-General, Douye Diri Skills Acquisition and Empowerment Programme.
