APC Ebonyi State Endorses President Tinubu, Governor Nwifuru For Second Term
The Ebonyi State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress has formally expressed its endorsement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for a second term in office.
The endorsement was highlighted in a statement issued on Monday, June 15, 2026, and made public on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, describing the development as a renewed affirmation of confidence in the leadership of both the federal and state executives.
According to Dr. Boniface Nwankwo, Special Assistant to the Governor on Documentation, the gathering underscored the party’s unity in Ebonyi State and its collective resolve ahead of the 2027 general elections. He noted that the endorsement reflects the party’s satisfaction with what he described as ongoing developmental strides under both administrations.
“Ebonyi is indeed a home of APC,” the statement read, emphasizing the party’s strong presence in the state and the growing support base for its leadership.
Party stakeholders present at the event reportedly reiterated their commitment to sustaining the current political alignment, describing the administrations of President Tinubu and Governor Nwifuru as focused on continuity, development, and stability.
The statement concluded with a reaffirmation of support for both leaders, describing Governor Nwifuru as “the deal,” while calling for sustained unity within the party structure in the state.
