Peter Obi's Emergence As NDC Presidential Candidate Excites Enugu Chapter

The Enugu State chapter of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has congratulated His Excellency Peter Obi, CON, on his emergence as the Presidential Flag Bearer of the party ahead of the 2027 general election.

In a congratulatory message issued on behalf of the leadership, members and stakeholders of the party in the state, the Chairman of NDC in Enugu State, Hon. Johnpaul Anih, Ph.D, described Obi's emergence at the party's Special National Convention as a reflection of the confidence, trust and belief party members have in his leadership capacity and vision for Nigeria.

Hon. Anih also expressed satisfaction with Obi's choice of His Excellency Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, CON, as his running mate, noting that the partnership represents a formidable team capable of providing purposeful leadership and national renewal.

According to him, the people of Enugu State stand firmly behind the party's presidential ticket and are committed to mobilizing support across the state to ensure victory for the NDC in the 2027 general election.

He reaffirmed the chapter's dedication to the party's success, assuring the presidential candidate of the unwavering support of members and stakeholders in Enugu State.

The state chairman further expressed optimism that a Peter Obi-led administration would usher in a new era of accountability, economic revitalization, good governance and national cohesion.
