Glorydrive Phase 3 Road Nears Completion As Bayelsa Expands Yenagoa City
The Bayelsa State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to the urbanisation and expansion of the state capital through the ongoing construction of the Glorydrive Phase 3 Road project linking the Airport/Tombia/Amassoma Road to the Imgbi Junction in Amarata.
Governor Douye Diri, under the Prosperity Administration, expressed satisfaction with the pace and quality of work on the road project, noting that the development forms part of efforts aimed at transforming Yenagoa into a modern and well-connected city.
According to the governor, the project represents another major step in the administration’s drive to improve infrastructure, ease transportation, and open up more areas for economic and residential development within the capital city.
He stated that the steady progress recorded on the project was encouraging and expressed optimism that the road would soon be completed for public use.
Governor Diri further stressed that his administration remains focused on delivering projects that would enhance the living standards of residents and position Bayelsa State for sustainable growth and development.
He added that with ongoing infrastructural projects across the state, “a new Bayelsa is truly emerging.”
