APC Announces Screening Schedule For National Assembly Aspirants

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the screening schedule for aspirants seeking to contest for Senate and House of Representatives seats ahead of the party’s primary elections.

According to a statement issued on Friday in Abuja by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the screening exercise for Senate aspirants will hold from Saturday, May 9 to Sunday, May 10, 2026, at the Abuja Continental Hotel, formerly known as Sheraton Hotel.

The statement noted that the exercise will commence at 10:00 a.m. on both days.

Similarly, the screening for aspirants vying for seats in the House of Representatives is scheduled to take place on the same dates at Treasures Suites & Conferences, also beginning at 10:00 a.m. daily.

The ruling party urged all aspirants to attend the screening exercise promptly and ensure they come along with all required documents and credentials.

The APC said the exercise forms part of preparations for its forthcoming primary elections for the National Assembly.
