Uzodimma Unveils Renewed Hope Ambassadors Digital Platforms, Says Initiative Will Deepen Civic Engagement

Gov. highlights digital communication drive as tool to strengthen transparency, counter misinformation and promote citizen participation

Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma has unveiled the digital assets of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA), describing the initiative as a strategic step toward strengthening civic education, public engagement, and access to credible information on government policies and reforms.
The platforms, which include the official website http://www.rhambassadors.org and social media handles—Instagram (@renewed_hope_ambassadors), Facebook (Renewed Hope Ambassadors HQ), and X (@RHAmbassadorsHQ)—were officially launched over the weekend as part of efforts to expand the group’s digital communication reach.

In a statement shared on his Facebook page, Governor Uzodimma said the platforms represent a major milestone in advancing the Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, particularly in simplifying government policies for better public understanding.
He explained that the initiative is designed to make complex policy information more accessible to citizens while improving transparency by ensuring government actions are more visible, understandable, and open to public scrutiny.

According to him, this development is critical to fostering informed public discourse and strengthening trust between government and the people.
Governor Uzodimma further noted that the integration of digital innovation, including a Data Communication Centre, would establish a responsive, data-driven communication framework aimed at promoting trust in governance, countering misinformation, and enhancing citizen participation in the Renewed Hope agenda.

The Renewed Hope Ambassadors said the initiative underscores a broader commitment to leveraging technology to improve governance communication, deepen accountability, and strengthen civic participation across the country.
