“Think Of 2027. Think of Governor Nwifuru For Continuity — Nwedu”

A member of the Ebonyi State Board of Internal Revenu (EBSIRS), Nwedu, has delivered a strong and direct message to the people of Ebonyi State, urging them to begin making deliberate choices that will safeguard the state’s progress beyond 2027.

Speaking at a high-level stakeholders’ meeting in Abakaliki, Nwedu did not mince words as he called for unwavering support for the continuity of Governor Francis Nwifuru’s administration.

“Think of 2027. Think of Governor Nwifuru for continuity,” he declared, emphasizing that the achievements recorded so far must not be interrupted.

Nwedu pointed to what he described as clear and undeniable strides in infrastructure, particularly the rehabilitation and upgrading of hospitals across the state, which he said have significantly improved access to quality healthcare for citizens. He also highlighted the construction and rehabilitation of major road networks, noting that improved connectivity is already boosting trade, mobility, and rural development.

“These are not abstract achievements,” he stressed. “They are visible in our communities, impacting lives daily. The momentum is strong, and it must not be broken.”

He warned that abandoning the current trajectory could stall ongoing projects and reverse the gains already made, insisting that continuity remains the surest path to consolidating development and unlocking greater economic opportunities for the state.

Nwedu therefore called on citizens, stakeholders, and political actors to rally behind a vision of stability and sustained progress, adding that the decisions made ahead of 2027 will determine whether Ebonyi State moves forward or backwards.

Observers note that his remarks reflect a growing wave of advocacy for continuity, as conversations around the state’s political future begin to gather momentum.
