APC Governors, Fubara Endorse Tinubu’s Directive On Credible Primaries

Governor of Rivers State, Siminalayi Fubara, has joined fellow state executives under the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) in Abuja for a high-level meeting focused on strengthening internal party processes ahead of forthcoming primaries.

The meeting, held at the Imo State Lodge, was chaired by the Chairman of the Forum and Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma.

Discussions centred on key strategies to ensure the smooth and transparent conduct of the party’s primary elections scheduled for next month. The governors collectively emphasized the importance of credible electoral processes in sustaining internal democracy within the party.

In a unified position, the forum resolved to align with the directive of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, reaffirming their commitment to conducting free, fair, and credible primaries across all states.

The PGF further reiterated its dedication to consolidating on existing achievements, promoting national development, and enhancing governance outcomes for the benefit of Nigerians.
